We gather every week to worship, to honor, and to proclaim God's presence among us and within us. Worship is as public as it is personal as we offer our reverence, intimacy with God as Spirit, and as a community knit together in love.

A community marked by the life of Christ

Due to COVID -19 pandemic, we now gather for worship in the sanctuary only on the first Sundays of the month for Holy Communion at 9:30 A.M.  On the other Sundays we gather on Zoom for worship and for fellowship, thereafter.

The Season of Epiphany

Christ reveals Himself to us and invites us to join in His work of salvation!

With our mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies to build up ourselves and the community from within. During this Epiphany season, reflecting on the ways Jesus calls us anew to join hands with Him to reflect God's love in our lives, in our families, and in our communities.

Lenten Season

Ash Wednesday is on February 17, 2021

Ashes will be distributed on Wednesday, February 17 at noon at the church. We will also gather for a prayer service at 7 pm on Zoom.  You may prepare ashes and keep it handy as we mark our foreheads with it even as we symbolically enter into a season of fasting, praying, and actively engaging with the meaning of the cross in our lives.

Grace Leadership

Rich Koehler.

The Congregation

The congregation at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church is a dedicated group of believers who are eager to love and serve Christ.  We are bound by our worship together, sharing of the sacrament of holy communion, and living out our lives as witnesses to the gospel of Christ our Lord.

Congregational Council

The Congregational Council provides leadership for matters concerning the growth  and witness of the local faith community. Council members are elected for a three -year term. We meet once a month to discuss programs and ministries of the church.

The pastor provides leadership by conducting worship, preaching, teaching, and leading by example. The pastor links the local church to the community, the synod {SEPA}, and the wider church (ELCA).

Fellowship through prayer, God's Word, and friends in Christ!

"Prayer does not change God, but it changes him who prays."
Soren Kierkegaard

Weekly Prayer

Our goal is to transform lives through Christ!  We believe in the power of the prayer as we are called to be a praying church.  We gather by phone on Wednesdays at noon to lift up prayers for our nation, churches, our community, and our families.

Bible Study

With our mission always in mind, we strive to find new strength as we gather around for a deeper study of God's word. We trust the movement of God's spirit to lead us to make meaningful connections with the people from our community.  We have our Bible Study on second Fridays of the month.

Grace Fellowship

At Grace, we refresh our fellowship in spirit as we gather once a month.  This is a time for fun as we catch up with one another, play a few faith-building, community-strengthening games. We also cherish this time as we build up one another and encourage each other in faith.

Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church

A local congregation of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Here at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, we believe in the real presence of Christ in the bread and body that we receive in faith. We also believe that we are called to be the presence of Christ in our communities to change the world.  We long for a kingdom of God that is just and peaceful for all. Since our founding in 1925, we have been determined to make an impact. The core of our efforts is to bring our passion to the ministries we’re involved in. Through all of our endeavors we hope to display the love of Christ.
